Chemistry Laboratory Technician

Details:

• Direct Hire (permanent), Full-time
  
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am 4:00 pm
  
• Pay: $40,000-$45,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process, stability, and finished product testing
  
• Inspect and test in-coming, in-process, and end products and materials
  
• Communicate with Production about required adjustments.
  
• Monitor and maintain laboratory supply inventory.
  
• Perform testing, make calculations to analyze data, and report results verbally and written.
  
• Assist in product development, method development, and validation.
  
• Maintain and laboratory equipment and areas
  
• Assist Quality Assurance with document control, issuing batch production sheets, and inspections as needed.

Will need to:

• Perform wet chemistry testing.
  
• Analyze samples using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer.
  
• Complete retain sample logs and deposit samples as needed.
  
• Precisely weigh raw materials for production.
  
• Inspect, test, label, and release materials timely for production

Requirements:

• Associates Degree or Higher in Chemistry
  
• Not allergic to iodine.
  
• Math skills, reasoning skills, and ability to communicate well with others.
  
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS), methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and batch sheets.
  
• Quality oriented, organizational, and time management skills.
  
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
