We are seeking a passionate Scientist to join our Oncology Targeted Discovery team, focusing on Drug Conjugates and Bioscience in Hematologic Malignancies. This is your chance to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to scientific discovery and the development of early drug candidates aimed at treating and curing hematologic malignancies. You'll design and execute in vitro experiments, contributing to preclinical drug-conjugate projects with a focus on lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma. Accountabilities:
  • Design, plan, and carry out high-quality in vitro experiments to address key scientific questions.
  • Develop and optimize assays and experimental protocols relevant to disease biology and drug mechanism of action.
  • Analyze, interpret, and clearly present data to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Document all research activities in accordance with good scientific and data integrity standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams spanning biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, and translational sciences.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant literature and emerging technologies and integrate scientific advancements into project strategies.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and represent the team at internal and external meetings as required.

Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Biosciences, Cell or Tumor Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or related field with relevant laboratory or industry experience with 0-10 years of post-degree experience.
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of molecular and cellular biology techniques, including cell culture (aseptic techniques), multi-color flow cytometry, Western blotting, and cytotoxicity assays.
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, record-keeping, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt workload based on changing priorities.
  • Candidates with PhDs or MDs (or equivalents) will not be considered for this position.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Experience in hematologic malignancies is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in disease-relevant in vitro models and working with primary human samples.
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics and high-throughput screening.
  • Track record of scientific publications or conference presentations.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $ 87,200.00 - 130,800.00. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
