Title: QC Chemist
Location: Washington, MO
Salary: $7585,000 + benefits
Are you an experienced analytical chemist with a passion for pharmaceutical testing and compliance? Join our dynamic contract laboratory team, specializing in analytical services for the pharmaceutical industry. We're looking for a detailoriented chemist to perform a wide range of complex and routine analytical tests in a regulated cGMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct analytical testing of pharmaceutical products and raw materials using techniques including:
Wet Chemistry, HPLC, GC, UVVis, FTIR, ICP, GFAA, and Dissolution
Follow cGMP guidelines and internal SOPs for all testing procedures
Accurately document lab results and maintain thorough records
Interpret and analyze data, comparing findings against specifications or trends
Prepare scientific reports and summarize laboratory results clearly
Maintain laboratory equipment, facilities, and inventory
Support training and supervision of lab technicians and junior chemists as needed
Collaborate with scientific teams or work independently as assigned
Qualifications:
Preferred: M.S. in Chemistry with 7+ years of experience in a cGMPregulated analytical lab
Minimum: B.S./B.A. in Chemistry or related scientific field with 5+ years of handson lab experience
Deep knowledge of analytical lab instruments and techniques
Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance in lab settings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
