Job Description

The position is a hands-on role with a focus on electroless and electrolytic plating, as well as the formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints, and adhesives. This role involves troubleshooting raw materials and interacting with suppliers, all related to the production of electrically conductive materials.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and update on new and developing technologies impacting company products and markets.
  • Conduct hands-on research and development in electroless and electrolytic plating and formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints, and adhesives.
  • Troubleshoot raw materials effectively.
  • Employ scientific and analytical approaches to product development.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in chemistry, laboratory practices, and quality control.
  • Experience in analytical and wet chemistry.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with peers, management, suppliers, and customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • A degree in chemistry, polymer science, or materials technology.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience, especially in plating or polymer formulation.
  • Eligibility to work on non-exportable technologies (U.S. citizenship or required credentials).
  • Technical leadership abilities.
  • Self-management and task focus.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $75.00/hr.
