Essential Functions
- Perform analytical and physical testing of laboratory samples submitted to the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Keep track of incoming and outgoing samples.
- Working knowledge of HPLC, GC, FTIR, Autotitrator, and other laboratory instruments required for testing
- Troubleshoot instrument errors and provide sound analytical responses.
- Establish relationships with vendors and internal customers regarding instruments and workflow.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical environment, such as FDA, GXP, USP, ISO, and OSHA regulations.
- Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods samples
- Test water samples as needed.
- Submit samples to third-party contract laboratories when applicable.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and manage chemical disposal and waste.
- Perform peer reviews of data packets and laboratory notebooks.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude, and be willing to work independently or as part of a team.
- Be open to working additional hours, including coming in early or staying later when needed.
- Occasionally work weekends, with at least five days notice when applicable.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Bachelor of Science and 2 years related experience -OR-
