GenAI Software Development Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AI Senior Software Engineer to drive the enhancement, productionization, and continuous improvement of Generative AI-powered applications. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to build scalable, reliable AI features, incorporate real-world user feedback, and mentor junior developers.

This is a hands-on technical role for individuals passionate about delivering AI-driven solutions in a production environment while maintaining high engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and productionization of Generative AI features within enterprise applications
• Enhance existing AI-powered systems by integrating user feedback, performance improvements, and reliability optimizations
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth and adherence to best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C#/.NET
• Contribute to the architecture and deployment of cloud-native applications, primarily on Azure (open to AWS or GCP experience)
• Implement and maintain Generative AI models in production environments, leveraging Python and modern AI frameworks
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance across all components

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience , with strong proficiency in C#/.NET
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms , preferably Azure (open to AWS or GCP)
• Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience with Generative AI , ideally in a production environment (e.g., integrating LLMs, prompt engineering, AI feature deployment)
• Solid programming skills in Python for AI integration and experimentation
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support the growth of junior software engineers
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable software

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience deploying or optimizing LLM-based features for user-facing applications
• Familiarity with AI safety, model evaluation, and prompt refinement
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or relevant technical communities
