- Lead the design and engineering of lentiviral vectors to support our gene therapy pipeline.
- Oversee lentiviral production using both internal resources and external CROs.
- Develop and implement analytical and cell-based assays (e.g., p24, VCN, SupT1 titration, ELISA, qPCR, ddPCR, WES, FACS, endotoxin testing).
- Maintain detailed and accurate experimental records in an Electronic Lab Notebook.
- Author technical reports and protocols to support regulatory and internal milestones.
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and scientific excellence in a BSL-2 environment.
- Embrace a proactive, can-do attitude and contribute to team success in a dynamic setting.
- Ph.D. in Biology or a related field with 5+ years of experience in lentiviral gene therapy (postdoc included), or M.S. with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in lentiviral vector design, engineering, and production.
- Experience managing CROs for lentiviral manufacturing.
- Strong experience in analytical and screening methods for vector characterization.
- Experience in CAR-T cell therapy is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with in vivo lentiviral delivery is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
