Project Engineer
Manages multiple projects in oil & gas plants Applies engineering expertise to solve complex problems by leveraging knowledge of Ecolabs customers and offerings.
Schedules and coordinates major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives. Reviews designs and documentation to ensure compliance with established criteria and standards. Conducts feasibility studies, estimates manpower and costs, and develops engineering criteria. Activities lead to innovative applications and extensions of existing or new products, processes, systems, or methods that are of major importance to the business.
Drives project planning and demonstrates proficiency in project management tools and techniques while working with cross-functional teams.
What you will do:
- Evaluate performance of designated operational assets (Facilities) to optimize chemical consumption rates.
- Execute Customer Engineering Projects
- Applies Engineering skills to solve complex problems, utilizing knowledge of Ecolab's customers and markets
- Schedule and Coordinates major segments of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives
- Participates in project planning by demonstrating knowledge of project management tools and techniques on cross functional teams
- Propose new KPIs to measure and improve asset performance.
- Evaluate asset performance and recommend a programmatic approach to fouling management.
- Achieve verifiable savings and cost avoidance through effective management strategies.
- Monitor chemical usage data at designated Facilities to ensure injected chemicals do not result in downstream operational inefficiencies.
- Identify the type, source, and amounts of contaminants and make recommendations for their elimination.
- Recommend chemicals to mitigate downtime and costs resulting from contaminants.
- Collaborate with the customer personnel to collect and analyze fluid samples.
- Update the list of Facilities on a quarterly basis, adding or removing locations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project management within the chemical or oil & gas industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of achieving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Ability to develop and implement KPIs to measure and improve asset performance.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $83,600.00 - $125,400.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
