Job DescriptionWe are seeking an individual to join our collaborative team supporting the analysis and characterization of in-process samples. This role plays a key part in optimizing product recovery and impurity removal by providing high-quality analytical data to support process development and improvement efforts.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with biochemical analytical techniques and a strong foundation in laboratory practices. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of industry experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to cross-functional projects.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing to support protein purification and bioprocess development.
- Apply a variety of analytical techniques, including:
- RT-qPCR
- UPLC/HPLC (SEC, HIC, IEX, Affinity)
- ELISA
- Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE)
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to assess process performance.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in electronic lab notebooks and databases.
- Support instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth lab operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and take on new technical challenges as needed.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- BS with 46 years or MS with 24 years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with RT-qPCR, ELISA, HPLC, and Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage/prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and performance metrics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or need for current/future sponsorship.

Additional Details:
The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes that may require shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover, Massachusetts, are encouraged to apply.
