APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Applications (REQ#200607138) in Seattle, Washington. Design and implement complex features in TV App. Implement core infrastructure features in TV App relating to navigation, image, and text. Implement complex UI features using iOS frameworks such as UIKit and CocoaTouch. Implement different animation behaviors. Implement performance test for instrumentation. Perform various types of profiling like time, memory, etc. Write scroll specific tests to measure scrolling performance. Code quality reviews. Review designs with Human interface design teams for new features. Implement video and audio playback management. Implement network request management to retrieve information from server with performance in mind. Implement UI update management to modify and react to data change events. $190,486 - $250,600/yr.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
6 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
1. Utilizing iOS frameworks such as CocoaTouch and UIKit to implement complex UI to allows user interact with the app.
2. Utilizing UITableView and UICollectionView to handle dynamic user interface.
3. Utilizing manual layout, auto layout and other iOS layout techniques to build reusable component that can handle complex use cases and user interface requirement with pixel perfect.
4. Utilizing Dispatch Queue, Operation Queue and others threading mechanism to handle multi-threading scenario.
5. Utilizing CFNetwork and other networking techniques such as HTTP/HTTPS, JSON to communicate between the application and backend.
6. Applying application architecture such as MVC, RIB, clean architecture to build well structured and maintainable features.

The base pay range for this role is between $190,486 - $250,600/yr., and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
