We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Research Engineer specializing in Materials Science and Fiber Science to lead cutting-edge research projects and drive the development of advanced materials and fiber-based technologies for Water Filtration Industry. This role combines deep scientific expertise, project leadership, collaboration to address industry challenges and develop Innovative Technologies.

Conduct advanced research on fiber-based materials and membranes for filtration and water purification.

Develop and optimize filtration media for applications such as water filtration and industrial processes.

Investigate the chemical, mechanical, and thermal properties of fibers used in filtration to enhance performance.

Develop prototypes and scalable processes for new fiber technologies.

Create prototypes of filtration systems and validate their performance through rigorous testing under simulated and real-world conditions.

Design and conduct experiments to analyze filtration efficiency, pressure drop, fouling behavior, and contaminant removal.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate material innovations into product designs.

Present technical insights and project updates to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

Ensure all research complies with industry standards and environmental regulations.

Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the design and development of filtration materials and processes.

Explore bio-based and renewable fiber technologies to minimize environmental impact.

Stay updated on emerging trends in filtration media, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable engineering.

Qualifications:

Education:

BS or MS in Materials Science, Fiber Science, Polymer Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

Strong understanding of fiber chemistry, processing techniques, and performance testing.

Process Engineering knowledge.

Proficiency with analytical tools such as SEM, TEM, FTIR, TGA and BET.

Knowledge of sustainability practices and bio-based fiber technologies is a plus.

Knowledge of polymer science and/or polymer processing is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of fiber chemistry, processing techniques, and performance testing.

Process Engineering knowledge.

Proficiency with analytical tools such as SEM, TEM, FTIR, TGA and BET.

Knowledge of sustainability practices and bio-based fiber technologies is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills for presenting complex ideas and findings.
