Chemistry Lab Technician - Medical Device

Description

This team supports analytical services for a variety of products within the organization.

Perform analytical testing using FTIR, Carbon/Sulfur analysis, ICP, DSC, HPLC, and GC.

Support laboratory operations including glassware cleaning and sample preparation.

Follow established procedures and document all activities in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate sample workflows and meet testing schedules.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional team activities.

Assist in identifying and troubleshooting test method failures.

Support both development and commercial Quality Control (QC) release activities.

Learn and understand the manufacturing processes supported by the lab.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field

6+ months of experience in an industry lab setting

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent communication and organizational skills (verified by references)

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively (verified by references)

Nice to have

Previous experience in a regulated environment

Contract testing lab experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
