Location: Cambridge, MA
Job Responsibilities:
Generate stable cell lines for research purposes.
Express antibodies in mammalian cells using shake flask cultures up to 3 liters.
Produce plasmids for experimental use.
Utilize qPCR to evaluate target knockdown in cell lines and tissue samples.
Conduct flow cytometry to assess antibody binding to targets.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in mammalian tissue culture techniques.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
Experience with protein or antibody expression in CHO cells via transient transfection.
Familiarity with generating stable CHO cell pools for recombinant protein or antibody secretion.
Knowledge of nucleic acid quantitation using qPCR or ddPCR.
