We currently have a role available for an Expert Pharma Analytical Chemist. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Identifying, characterizing and purifying pharmaceutical compounds using analytical and chromatographic techniques (UPLC, HPLC, SFC, LC-MS, etc.). Conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation as needed. Developing methods on LC and SFC. Investigating LC-MS columns/methods for specific projects. Working as a team with other chemists, external resources and data management groups. Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and implementation of best practices. Job requirements include, but are not limited to: PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 3+ years of pharma laboratory experience outside of academia. Extensive theoretical knowledge of UPLC, LC, LC-MS, SFC required, as well as hands-on experience with Waters and Agilent systems. Functional knowledge of NMR preferred (theory, instrument operation and maintenance, result interpretation). Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Works well both within a team and as an individual. Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
