Formulation Scientist

Seeking a Formulation Scientist to support the development of new pharmaceutical products using Softgel Formulation/Process drug delivery systems. Requirements: BS in scientific field with 5+ years lab experience, including 3 years in GMP

MS in scientific field with 3+ years experience in GMP lab

Doctorate in scientific field with 1+ year lab experience

Preferred Skills: Experience with solubility and compatibility studies

Proficiency in HPLC analysis

Responsibilities: Conduct pre-formulation, formulation preparation, testing and analysis

Schedule and execute lab work for timely completion

Prepare laboratory fill mixes and gel swatches

Perform various tests including fill moisture, water activity, hardness, rheology, burst strength, impact/drop testing, disintegration, dissolution

Record experimental details and results accurately
