The Eurofins PSS team is seeking a Plate-Based Assay Scientist to support the in-vitro plate-based screening operations in support of biologics drug discovery. The successful candidate will be required to perform the following job functions.

• Culture and maintain a variety of mammalian cell lines (adherent and suspension cultures)
• Demonstrate excellent aseptic technique with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multi-task across cell models. Includes ability to quickly identify any potential issues with cell culture and quickly troubleshoot and address.
• Perform plate-based assays to deliver high quality screening data with rapid turnaround times
• Responsible for development, validation, and execution of robust, reproducible plate-based protein-protein interaction, cell binding and cell-based functional assays including reporter gene assays, AlphaLISA/HTRF, DELFIA, ELISA, FACS, immunofluorescence, etc.
• Use robotics and automated liquid handling systems in the performance of screening.
• Analyze data using GraphPad Prism, GeneDataScreener, or supplied macros according to protocols; includes performing standard data QC.
• Document data properly in electronic lab notebook (ELN).
• Contribute to general laboratory housekeeping tasks and duties, including routine QC of specificed laboratory instrumentation. Coordinate reagent and data transfer.
• For technically complex workflows resourcing may be only required for a portion of workflow.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Biochemistry or a related field with 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience using plate-based assays including ELISA, FACS, DELPHIA, immunofluroesence, etc.
• Ability to handle large volumes of data and data analyses is required.

Position is full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cambridge , MA are encouraged to apply.
