Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician

What You'll Do

As a QC Lab Technician, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting quality tests on production batches of UV and water-based inks, coatings, and adhesives.
  • Inspecting incoming raw materials to support purchasing and reduce variability.
  • Following and improving testing procedures outlined in our Quality Manual.
  • Collaborating with formulators and operations teams to evaluate and enhance new formulas and inspection plans.
  • Documenting and recording test results for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
  • Assisting in resolving internal and external quality complaints.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Chemistry or Biology preferred).
  • Strong understanding of chemistry and analytical testing methods.
  • Ability to distinguish subtle color differences.

Preferred:

  • Experience with inks, coatings, or related materials.
  • Familiarity with UV-Vis spectroscopy, titration, and wet chemistry techniques.

Work Environment

You'll be working in a dynamic chemical laboratory-expect a hands-on, practical setting where lab coats may get a little messy. The lab is separate from the production floor and shared with a team of dedicated technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
