A Day in the Life:- Analyze cell culture media samples autonomously or with limited mentorship.
- Perform analytical assays on MassSpec instrumentation focusing on small molecules and metabolomics.
- Participate in analytical method development, optimization, and validation.
- Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation.
- Initiative to engage in process improvement projects.
- Strong communication skills to regularly update managers and teams.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related field (B.S. degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years industry experience, M.S. degree or equivalent experience preferred).
- Functional knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Experience with chromatography techniques such as HPLC/UHPLC and LC-MS technology.
- Experience with processing untargeted and targeted MassSpec data.
- Preferred experience with Thermo Scientific TSQ and/or Orbitrap MassSpec series instrumentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Work is performed in a laboratory setting with routine exposure to hazardous materials. Strict adherence to safety protocols is required.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $66,000.00$88,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
