Process Engineer
Job Description
Validation and process development support needed for launching a new production line (NPI). This engineer will support Staff and Principle level staff with automated test procedure development, equipment release & qualification, and validations (test method and computer system).
They will be doing the writing for process documentation
Supporting Assembly and Testing activities through test development and validation
Equipment qualification activities, supporting IQ/OQ/TMV documentation
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Job requires a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is
based.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This job typically requires a Bachelor or Masters degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or biomedical engineering and 1 to 2 years experience.
- Excellent Technical writing skills
- Experience with Validation such as Equipment Qualification and/or TMV
- Test method development nice to have
- Computer Systems Validation nice to have
- Experience with Minitab, OnePLM/ Windchill, VelGenesis, and Solidworks would be a big plus
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite five days a week. The environment demands independence and the ability to utilize professional expertise with minimal supervision.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
