Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding hematology, chemistry, and immunologyadhering to standardized protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, guide new staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment.
