Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Lab Technician to join their High Throughput Purification team within the Discovery Chemistry department. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced analytical laboratory, supporting a multidisciplinary team responsible for the analysis and purification of small-molecule compounds. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about scientific research and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare standard solutions and concentrate purified sample solutions.

Perform routine maintenance of UPLC systems.

Manage ordering and inventory of laboratory consumables.

Submit and track maintenance requests for lab equipment.

Maintain inventories of lab equipment and supplies.

Operate analytical and preparative instrumentation such as HPLC, LCMS, and flash chromatography (if experienced).

Assist with work orders, purchase requisitions, and general lab upkeep.

Ensure compliance with lab safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field with 0-2 years of experience.

Familiarity with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LCMS, flash chromatography).
