Research Associate Cell Line Development

Akkodis is seeking a Research Associate - Cell Line Development for a Contract job with a client in Framingham, MA . The ideal candidate will support the development of recombinant CHO cell lines and platform optimization for biologics research and preclinical development. Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Research Associate job responsibilities include: Assist in generating engineered mammalian cell lines (transfection pools, clones). Support multiple studies to optimize cell line generation processes. Perform mammalian cell culture techniques including sterile technique, passaging, cryopreservation, and cell counting. Conduct basic molecular biology techniques such as DNA plasmid prep, PCR, and restriction enzyme digestion. Prepare reports, presentations, and data sets to communicate results and progress. Present data at lab meetings and collaborate across teams. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field (preferably with a focus in Cellular Biology research). Experience in suspension culture of CHO cell lines in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting. Familiarity with cell culture and molecular manipulation techniques. Strong technical background and experience with data management and presentation. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
