Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments
- Perform method validation, assay development, and method transfer
- Draft and review protocols, reports, and documentation in compliance with cGMP and ALCOA principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine appropriate analytical methodologies
- Analyze in-process and final product samples
- Author technical reports and SOPs
- Evaluate new instrumentation and analytical techniques
- Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance
- Support technical leads and SME's to meet project deadlines
- Participate in daily team meetings to align on project goals and lab execution
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- 45 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry
- Proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, Empower, and GMP documentation
- Experience with method development, validation, and transfer
- Ability to independently execute lab assays and draft protocol deviations under supervision
- Strong data review and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with icIEF, CE, Maurice, CE-SDS, PA 800
- Familiarity with Waters HPLC, chemistry plate-based assays, and LIMS
- Exposure to computational tools, modeling software, and data visualization platforms

- Office and laboratory setting in Sanford, NC
- Fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight project timelines
- 1-month accelerated training program (must be able to ramp up quickly)
