Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled lab technician to perform wet chemistry testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. The role involves operating analytical instruments such as Ion Chromatography (IC) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP). You will rotate between two lab environments, focusing on acid-based products and phosphate salts. Accurate documentation and communication of test results to the operations team are essential, along with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Adaptability to changing priorities and testing needs in a fast-paced environment is crucial, and you will participate in a comprehensive 68 week training program alongside experienced lab staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Operate analytical instruments, including Ion Chromatography (IC) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).
• Rotate between lab environments focused on acid-based products and phosphate salts.
• Accurately document and communicate test results to the operations team.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Adapt to changing priorities and testing needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in a comprehensive 68 week training program with experienced lab staff.

• Associates or Bachelors degree in a life science field preferred, or relevant lab/QC experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Experience with wet chemistry or analytical instrumentation is a plus.

The position requires working overnight shifts, consisting of 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The work environment is fast-paced, and training will be conducted during the night shift. The role offers a base pay plus a shift differential for night shifts.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.50/hr.
