Our client, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Senior Food Scientist to join their team. As a Senior Food Scientist, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative beverage solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Food Scientist
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop new beverages including juices, cocktails, teas, and sauces from concept to shelf.
+ Manage the research, formulation, and duplication of new products.
+ Conduct lab and sensory analysis, and perform market product evaluations.
+ Set ingredient product specifications and prepare final product formulations for testing and approval.
+ Train and mentor other scientists on flavor development and sensory analysis.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
+ A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a food laboratory environment, specifically in beverages.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to analyze sensory results and perform yearly sensory training.
