Overnight Clinical Laboratory Scientist 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Azusa, CA 91702 Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join a specialized team dedicated to excellence in transplant testing. This is a critical role for individuals who are passionate about laboratory science and want to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment that prioritizes accuracy, compliance, and innovation. Shift : 10pm-8:30am Sat-Tue Pay : $50-$60/hr, depending on experience Key Responsibilities: Perform a broad range of laboratory tests in accordance with validated procedures across multiple specialties. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers; troubleshoot and resolve basic malfunctions and escalate when necessary. Prepare reagents and media following standardized protocols, and evaluate their performance based on established criteria. Execute and interpret quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results; take corrective action when deviations are identified. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and internal Quality Management Systems. Contribute to a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence in laboratory operations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution. Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general keyboarding skills. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Commitment to customer service and cross-functional collaboration. Certification by ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB is preferred for candidates in Georgia or other applicable states. Preferred Attributes: Strong foundational knowledge of medical technology including chemistry, biology, and bacteriology. Ability to follow precise protocols and accurately document all findings and procedures. Previous experience in transplant testing is not required but a willingness to learn and grow in a specialized area is essential. INDBH
