Job Responsibilities What You'll Be Involved In

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsencompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols with accuracy.
• Assess and analyze results for precision, address any discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance along with calibrating lab instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Detail all procedures accurately, mentor new personnel or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while strictly adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, in conjunction with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within a year of hire.
