Here's the Glimpse of the Job
The Chemistry department is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. You'll be responsible for conducting research in Chemistry. Also responsible for writing manuscripts, developing research proposals, and helping with graduate student mentoring and group organization.
Opportunties to Contribute
Analyze and interpret data to support collaborative discussions and decision-making in group meetings.
Prepare and disseminate findings through manuscripts, periodic reports, scientific publications, and professional presentations.
Create and deliver presentations of results at group meetings and other appropriate venues.
Provide advice and assistance to other laboratory team members and provide mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students.
Attend scientific meetings and seminars to enhance research.
Keep up to date on scientific research via reading of literature, etc.
Participating in writing grant proposals. and follow applicable safety standards.
Salary: Commensurate based on candidate's education and experience
Special Note: Due to this positions salary having all or a portion of it being funded by grants or contracts, the continuing salary and overall employment is contingent upon availability of these funds in the future.
Qualifications
Appropriate Ph.D. in Chemistry
This position requires export-control authorization prior to commencing employment.
A well-qualfied candidates will also possess:

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Ability to exercise discretion, independent judgment and make important decisions.
Ability to conduct independent scientific research
