Description Your Role

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols with care.
• Ensure accurate analysis of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing when required.
• Document all procedures diligently, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Completion of a Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health education with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout your career.
