Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing recommendations for safe equipment operation and appropriate application of available technology.

  • Leading cross-functional teams, utilizing strong communication techniques.

  • Developing innovative solutions to complex filtration problems using wetlaid and related technogies, while actively seeking creative input from other technical experts.

  • Using Adaptive Coaching for communication, goal alignment, problem solving, and career planning.

  • Developing, coordinating, directing, and participating in assigned process and product development projects.

  • Designing and conducting experiments to prove feasibility of new process and new products concepts.

  • Designing and managing fabrication of prototype equipment as required

  • Providing bench, laboratory, pilot, and production plant field trial for process and product development projects.

  • Proposing, testing, and proving new technology concepts in order to improve and/or change the actual process.

  • Interacting with the Engineering Group, proposing and demonstrating the best for the case of new lines expansion and/or acquisitions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, materials engineering or related field required

  • 2-10 years' experience in product design and development, with hands-on involvement in manufacturing and process development using wetlaid nonwoven technology is required

  • Experience with end-use application testing or development of filtration solutions is highly desired

  • Holds a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • Ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries to achieve project and company results.
