CIPM is looking to hire Research Aassociate - Technical Editor to
support the cooperative agreement with APHIS PPQ S&T Plant Pest
Risk Analysis (PPRA) unit. The incumbent will work under a project
lead serving as a Technical Editor supporting the cooperative
activities between PPRA and CIPM. The primary duty will be to
provide editorial support that aid in the development of reports that
support the protection of U.S. agriculture from exotic plant pests.
The incumbent will edit, fact check, format, and help write
documents. They will ensure that documents conform to established
styles and U.S. laws (e.g., documents are 508c compliant). The individual
will be required to work closely with others in a team environment and will
help the team to meet project deadlines by
assisting federal staff and cooperators to determine how to best
present information in a clear and concise manner.
