PURPOSE: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Semiconductor Development Engineer to join our development engineering team. This role is critical in driving process development, and process integration for a unique application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor process technology, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with a proven track record of hands-on problem-solving in a fab environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead process development efforts across the process flow, ensuring seamless integration of unit processes into robust module flows.
- Develop and optimize semiconductor fabrication processes such as photolithography, etch, and deposition.
- Design and execute experiments (DOE) to evaluate process performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot integration issues with quick, hands-on experiments to find root cause solutions in collaboration with other engineers and technicians.
- Analyze process data using statistical tools and recommend improvements.
- Support technology transfer from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
- Document process flows, specifications, and best practices.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and present technical findings.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize process windows and improve uniformity, performance, and yield.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor process equipment and cleanroom protocols.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, MATLAB, Python, Excel).
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Willingness to be hands-on, in the factory processing material and evaluating experiments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
