responsibilities:
- Independently design and perform assays to analyze immune responses to vaccine
- Experience that includes (but are not limited to) cell culture, neutralization assays, Luminex, and ELISAs in BSL-2 environments.
- Develop and optimize new or current assays to improve work efficiency.
- Apply technical skills and functional knowledge to complete projects/ assignments
- independently and proactively.
- Perform data analysis; summarize and interpret experimental results and present at team meetings. Write research reports to support regulatory submissions.
- Read scientific and technical literature to stay current in the field and to bring new and
- improved technologies to the laboratory.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks in compliance with the company Laboratory Notebook Policy.
qualifications:
Must-Have
- PhD with 0+ years' experience in Immunology, Virology, Biology or a related field in pre-clinical research
- or Bachelor's degree with 6+ years OR Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience with immunoassays (neutralization and ELISA)
- and data interpretation.
- Strong background in immunology and virology.
- Experience in assay development.
- Proficiency in software to perform analysis and presentation of data (Excel, GraphPad Prism, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software).
- Advanced experience in generating protocols using Bravo Automated Liquid Handling Platform.
- Experience in designing and completing experiments independently.
- Knowledge of Luminex technology and molecular biology techniques.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas and functions).
