Chemist I

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support formulation development efforts for one of the worlds largest and most respected cosmetics companiesrenowned for its innovation across skincare, sun protection, makeup, fragrance, hair care, and hair color categories.

**Duration** : 6 months contract to hire

**Pay** : 22/hr

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Conduct comprehensive characterization of formulations using standard analytical techniques

+ Prepare, mix, and adjust formulas in alignment with development protocols

+ Monitor and document formulation stability over time, reporting any deviations or issues

+ Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines and quality benchmarks are met

+ Maintain accurate, well-organized laboratory documentation and data records

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology)

+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, or a related field

+ Hands-on experience with rheological testing is required

+ Prior formulation experience is a strong plus

+ Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office tools

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative team environment

+ Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and adaptability

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $22.06 per hour
