Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT / MLS) to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

The Medical Technologist (MT) collects, processes, and performs laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocols. The position functions as a key operator and trainer for instrumentation in assigned discipline. The MT functions as charge person as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or field related to area or specialty.
  • American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency, HEW or military certification is required.
  • New hires must attain certification within 12 months of hire. Failure to attain certification will result in demotion or loss of position.
  • Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, electronic medical record, and all laboratory instrumentation used in their area of expertise.
