Production Operator Job Description The operator will be responsible for monitoring computer software sensors throughout the facility and recording any variances in readings. This role is essential in a company dedicated to producing ethanol from recycled products. Responsibilities Monitor computer software sensors throughout the facility. Record readings and note any variances on an hourly basis. Monitor and adjust liquid and steam levels for efficient operation. Monitor the pH levels of wastewater discharge and record test results. Safely start, monitor, and shut down the Evaporation System. React to abnormal conditions, breakdowns, and emergencies. Unload and load tanker trucks, railcars, syrup trucks, totes, barrels, and kegs. Submit work orders for equipment and facilities requiring maintenance. Essential Skills Experience in production and machine operation. Proficiency in computer operation for monitoring production activities and sensors. Knowledge of chemical mixing and general labor tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a production environment is advantageous. Capability to handle emergency situations effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
