• Support specimen collection and assist with sample preparations for testing to ensure quality results.

• Create a safe, clean workspace while complying with the necessary regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout tenure.
