Join us as a Development Engineer on our Off Road Vehicles (ORV) Methods Development team. In this important role, you will support ORV engineering by working closely with product and validation teams to design effective lab and field test methods. Your contributions will help improve our vehicles performance and reliability as you collaborate on innovative engineering solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with platform and systems teams to identify test method gaps and work to close them
  • Guide requirement-based testing, analytic tools, and early testing to support development & Validations Methods
  • Mature, standardize and document test methods
  • Create, present and maintain test documentation
  • Develop test processes to improve efficiency and assure consistency
  • Specify and procure new test equipment
  • Ensure test correlation to product-specific duty cycles and Reliability targets
  • Adapt test methodologies to address test detection needs as compared to customer usage and warranty
  • Train and mentor others in testing methodologies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering or Related
  • Minimum 2 years testing/validation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to form cross functional relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
  • Hands-on knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems and problem-solving
  • Experience with data collection, data processing
  • Knowledge of reliability and quality systems tools desired
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Powersports experience preferred
  • Travel The starting pay range for Minnesota is $72,000 to $95,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

    To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
