- Conduct routine testing on API samples using various chemistry techniques such as UV-VIS, titrations, LOD, pH, and physical testing.
- Maintain general laboratory upkeep.
- Analyze samples in support of the companys quality program within a GMP laboratory environment.
- Perform equipment verification and calibration in accordance with appropriate procedures.
- Support the testing of GMP processes across the production site.
- Adhere to safe work practices, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment such as lab coat, safety glasses, respirator as needed, and gloves.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.)
- Familiarity with FDA regulations.
- Experience with GC-MS, UV-VIS, and pH testing techniques.
- Experience in pharmaceutical testing and quality control.
- Strong understanding of chemistry, laboratory practices, and GMP, GLP standards.
The position is located in a standard lab environment regulated by cGMP and FDA standards. The team comprises a mix of new hires and experienced professionals, so the ability to collaborate with people at various levels is essential. The role is an individual contributor within a team, with daily team meetings to discuss goals and assignments. Training involves working side-by-side with an Analyst or Scientist, starting with shadowing and gradually moving to independent work upon demonstration of competency. The lab processes samples from manufacturing with turnaround times between 2 and 24 hours.
