Job Description


Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The companys R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

  • Plan, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo studies (efficacy, PK/PD).

  • Carry out pre-clinical model development and characterization.

  • Conduct standard vivarium operations.

  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, accurate and timely record-keeping, and data analysis.

  • Learn and conduct other in vivo-related techniques.

  • Interface with cross-functional project team members, and participate in and present at project and cross-departmental team meetings.

  • Formulate and administer drugs and experimental compounds by various routes.

  • Occasional husbandry and facility cleaning.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • BS or MS in Biology or Pharmacology related discipline (3 - 5 years experience).

  • Proficiency with various mouse handling techniques, including dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP), tumor inoculation/measurements, in-life and terminal blood collection, survival surgeries, and handling of tissues during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysis.

  • Computer literacy, especially proficiency in GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • The ability to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with in vivo imaging and Studylog

  • Research experience with mouse models of cancer and/or cancer immunotherapy

The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $90,000 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
