Chemistry Lab Technician

Sr Test Technician needed for immediate temp to direct hire role in the Plainville, CT area! The test technician will have an education and a passion for chemistry, be meticulous with details and possess a natural engineering curiosity. In this role, this person will work closely with brilliant minds in a great lab atmosphere testing top notch coating products across several industries.

The right person for this role will work a 9-5 shift in a state of the art laboratory conducting repetitive testing with sophisticated equipment. This person must be a self-starter, able to work with very little supervision and have experience with ceramic or polymer coatings. responsibilities:

• Conduct repetitive testing within chemistry lab following SOP's
  
  
• Utilize lab safety guidelines
  
  
• Work with ceramic or polymer coatings testing performance and durability
  
  
• Properly apply coatings evenly to glossy surfaces

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter, able to work with very little supervision
  
  
• Chemistry Lab Experience a MUST
  
  
• Lab safety trained preferred
  
  
• Experience with ceramic or polymer coatings is a plus
  
  
• Passionate, reliable, with excellent documentation skills
