Medical Laboratory Scientist

Under the direction of the Section Supervisor, the Medical Technologist employs professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance functions in the department.

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

  • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends & holidays as scheduled
  • Work Status Available:
    • Per Diem / On Call, Day
    • Positions specified as on call/per diem refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an as needed basis to fill in for staff vacancies.
  • Shifts Schedule: Sunday-Saturday with various days off. Hours will range from 0500-0700 start time and 1330-1530 end time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or an equivalent science -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience

Preferred Qualification:

  • 1 or more years of work experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a hospital setting.
