Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Full-Time | Day Shift | Rural Community Hospital

A well-respected critical access hospital in Eastern Oregon is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join its clinical laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, close-knit healthcare environment that values quality care and team collaboration.

• Perform clinical lab testing across chemistry, hematology, serology, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood banking

• Operate lab equipment and instrumentation with precision

• Conduct quality control, maintenance, and calibration procedures

• Evaluate and process specimens with a focus on accuracy and patient care

• Participate in proficiency testing and continuous quality improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical, or clinical science

• Certification-eligible as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS-ASCP)

• Must obtain MLS-ASCP certification within 1 year of hire

• Prior lab experience preferred, but not required

• Work in a tight-knit, patient-centered rural hospital

• Enjoy a Monday–Friday, day shift schedule
