As an Engineer/Scientist I, QC you will have the unique opportunity to work with a word class team that is committed to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional testing of intermediate and finished goods kits according to approved SOPs
- Document accurate test results using Excel spreadsheets and workbooks
- Maintain lot histories
- Independently revise and update SOPs and/or worksheets
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Bioscience or equivalent with 0 - 2 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience, preferably in the medical diagnostics industry
- Strong laboratory skills, including pipetting, safety, and hazardous chemical handling
- Understanding of cGMP and its application in the work environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Clear and concise documentation skills
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work independently
Work Environment
- Mostly lab based
- Expect to be testing material 80 % of the time and 20% of the time documentation rest of timer doing paperwork.
- What is the dress code for this role?
- Comfortable working with biological materials- testing can be done on blood and urine.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
