Job Description In this role, you will leverage your creativity and technical foundation to lead the proof of principles, development, and implementation of productivity projects impacting biscuits in the North America market. As part of a Regional Productivity team, you will deliver the RDQ activities required to support feasibility assessments of ideas, generate briefs, and collaborate with ingredient suppliers. You will review and modify specifications, develop products via bench top and pilot plant, coordinate sensory validation, scale up trials in bakeries with good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements, and conduct analytical tests with an emphasis on meeting productivity targets. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of productivity projects impacting biscuits in the North America market.
- Support feasibility assessments of ideas and generate briefs.
- Collaborate with ingredient suppliers and review specifications.
- Develop products via bench top and pilot plant.
- Coordinate sensory validation and scale up trials in bakeries.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirements.
- Conduct analytical tests and other activities focused on meeting productivity targets.
- Knowledge in food product development including bench top development, shelf life, sensory evaluation, and regulations.
- Experience in plant trials, including scale up, commissioning, or deploying projects.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with multifunctional teams and suppliers, including effective verbal and technical writing.
- Ability to work autonomously with accountability and project management skills.
- Experience in developing innovation and flavor developments.
- Experience working with flavor houses.
