Chemical Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the chemical industry, is seeking a LAB Research Chemist to join their team. As a LAB Research Chemist, you will be part of the analytical laboratory supporting critical manufacturing and R&D product platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** LAB Research Chemist

**Location:** Maplewood, MN

**Pay Range:** $20 to $34 per hour

**Duration:** 12 month contract

**What's the Job?**

+ Maintain solvent and mobile phases across labs, ensuring consistency and quality.

+ Perform high-volume sample, stock standard, and solution preparation with precision.

+ Conduct analyses using FTIR, NIR, Raman, and UV-Vis techniques.

+ Utilize LC/GC Chromatography and GPC software for sample preparation and analysis.

+ Document preparation and experimental parameters accurately, following written procedures.

**What's Needed?**

+ BA/BS in Chemistry with 3+ years of industrial laboratory experience.

+ Experience in gas/liquid chromatography, FTIR, NIR, UV-Vis, and other laboratory techniques.

+ Strong background in sample preparation in a QA/R&D setting.

+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to adapt to dynamic timelines.

+ Excellent organizational and project/time management skills.
