- Perform testing and evaluations of raw materials, bulk, and finished products.
- Ensure current standard operating and test procedures are utilized.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP requirements.
- Develop understanding of various testing methodologies and potential errors.
- Ensure product quality specifications and customer standards are met.
- Perform batch adjustments as needed in batch making procedures.
- Troubleshoot out-of-specification situations.
- Maintain compliance with current regulatory expectations and practices.
- Accurately record and document all data and pertinent information.
- Document out-of-specification situations, determine root cause, and suggest possible solutions.
- Understand and maintain a culture of lean action within the department.
- Laboratory experience
- Degree in Chemistry
- 0-6 months of industry experience
- Proficiency in wet chemistry
- Experience with FTIR
- Quality control expertise
- 4-year degree in chemistry required.
- 0-2 years of QC industry experience in pharma, cosmetics, or food.
- Experience with pH meter, Brookfield spindle viscometer, and analytical balances.
- Visual and odor inspection skills.
- Experience with solution preparation, wet chemistry titrations, HPLC, GC, and UV is a plus.
This position is based out of the Eden Prairie site and requires working 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role involves working independently in a lab environment, with potential exposure to various fragrances. The work may involve moderate to high physical activity and requires adaptability to changes in the work environment.
