Entry Level Chemist (R&D)

Kelly Science is seeking a Chemist to join a growing R&D department for a 6 month contract in Rochester, NY.

Pay: $22/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Employment Type: 6 month contract

Roles and Responsibilities

• Product Characterization: Characterize new formulations of Rx and vitamin products. Determine product potencies and characterize physical and chemical behaviors.
  
• Conduct Research & Analysis: Utilize demonstrated analytical lab techniques, sample preparation/extractions, and chromatography.
  
• Perform Data Analysis: Analyze data to support scientific findings and product developments.
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed lab notebooks. Organize data effectively in Excel, creating clear and concise data reports.
  
• Collaboration: Work as part of a team of scientists to optimize and develop innovative new products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related scientific field.
  
• General understanding of HPLC and previous laboratory experience preparing solutions, samples, etc.
  
• Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve
