Job Description
BA/BS chemistry degree with 3+ years industrial laboratory experience in gas/liquid chromatography, FTIR, NIR and UV-Vis, titration, ion chromatography, IV and other general laboratory techniques, especially 3+ years of sample preparation experience in a QA/ R D setting with a focus on meticulous preparation of stock solutions and standards, dilutions and pipetting accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for providing critical testing support for several core *** manufacturing and R D product platforms. This analytical laboratory role will involve routine significant sample prep and analysis, chemical inventory/disposal as well as standard instrument calibration and maintenance. The candidate will be detail-oriented with good communication and excellent problem-solving skills, proficient in MS Office Suite, able to work quickly/effectively as directed, capable of adapting to dynamic timelines/priorities and willing to learn new instrument operating systems and techniques as needed. Experience with basic chemical laboratory techniques plus excellent organizational and project/time management skills are key. Responsibilities will include hands-on sample preparation and analysis across several analytical techniques. Export control clearance required.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain solvent and mobile phases across labs, ensuring consistency and quality.
High-volume of sample, stock standard and solution preparation with precision (molarity, normality, and dilutions).
Perform analyses using FTIR, NIR, Raman, and UV-Vis techniques using Thermo instruments and software.
Utilize LC/GC Chromatography and GPC software for sample preparation, analysis and validation.
Execute wet chemistry techniques using Titrations, Ion Chromatography, including pipetting, calibration of pipettes, and use of Metrohm software.
Document preparation and experimental parameters accurately, following written procedures (test methods, SOPs) utilizing LIMS systems for documentation and data management.
Create written procedures, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a QC laboratory setting.
Background in polymer preparation, handling, and properties, including intrinsic viscosity (IV).
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Adaptability across multiple platforms and software.
Safety-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining a secure laboratory environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
