Ready to be part of a team where every test result matters? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our dynamic laboratory on a full-time flex basis. This role rotates between first shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM) and second shift (1:45 PM – 10:15 PM), with varied days including weekends (2 every 4 weeks) and rotating holidays. You’ll work 56–80 hours per pay period, with flexible shift coverage when staffing needs arise.
In this vital position, you’ll perform routine and advanced testing that supports the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of Special Projects, helping to drive innovation and operational improvement.

- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) rates range from $21.48/hr to $31.19/hr.
- Sr. Medical Laboratory Technician rates range from $22.82/hr to $33.09/hr.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) rates range from $26.97/hr to $35.51/hr.
- Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist rates range from $28.86/hr to $40.43/hr.
In this role, there is opportunity to -
- Perform high and moderate complexity testing with precision and clinical accuracy.
- Follow all protocols for specimen collection, phlebotomy, and sample integrity.
- Evaluate and report test results, including identifying abnormal or critical values.
- Investigate errors or inconsistencies in test outcomes and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain instruments through calibration, quality control, and basic repairs.
- Comply with all lab and hospital policies for safety, quality assurance, and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and providers in a professional manner.
- Utilize supplies efficiently and monitor inventory for restocking needs.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of testing techniques and result interpretation.
- Support or lead special projects as assigned or volunteered—daily to annually.
- Contribute to method evaluation, equipment selection, and implementation efforts.
- Train new staff, students, or residents as assigned.
- Step in as acting supervisor when delegated to ensure seamless operations.
- Adapt to scheduling needs by flexing between shifts or accepting assigned hours.
